    Enter runs Find matching cards; Shift+Enter adds a line. Line breaks count as spaces. Ctrl/⌘+Enter also runs the expression. When disabled, ordinary search uses the card name. Open Help for syntax and examples.

    Off by default: filters never block an educational Deck link. Explicit deck: selectors work in filtered search regardless of this option. When on, name patterns can also select Deck cards; Magic-only fields do not apply to Deck.

    Help

    We chose syntax close to Scryfall’s search syntax to preserve familiar community habits. Ozramel is not fully Scryfall-compatible; its local features and limits are described below.

    Where filters work

    On the website: an active expression narrows Magic-card search, suggestions, printings and random draws, and the next MTG game challenge. Find matching cards or Enter enables the expression and lists matches; Ctrl/⌘+Enter also works. Shift+Enter adds a line; line breaks count as spaces. Disable keeps the text without applying it; Clear removes it; Copy makes it reusable. A click outside this box closes it without clearing the filter.

    In Telegram: /s expression lists matches and /! expression draws a matching Magic card. A name wildcard in /f or /c offers choices for a full card or an image. Inline @bot is for name suggestions, not the full filter language. Bots may run different versions; check /version.

    Selecting your favorite formats only highlights their legality on a card; it does not exclude cards. Use f:modern, for example, for a strict format filter. Educational Deck links remain independent unless Apply to Ozramel Deck is on. Explicit deck: selectors work in filtered search and Deck draws without that option; Magic-only criteria do not describe Deck concepts.

    Open the full Filter guide (&filter) for the longer walkthrough, complete reference and troubleshooting. In Telegram, use /f &filter. The guide remains accessible even if the current filter excludes other Deck cards.

    Syntax

    Write field:value for a criterion, comparisons such as pow>5 for numbers, and =Foudre for an exact name (equivalent to name=Foudre). Spaces mean AND; or allows alternatives; parentheses group them; -t:creature excludes creatures. Quote values with spaces: ="Lightning Bolt". Do not add a slash before a field.

    A bare word searches names. A plain complete name alone gets exact-match priority; when combining criteria, =Foudre, ="Foudre" and name=Foudre keep matching exact. name:Foudre is partial. Each * matches any sequence of characters: J*ari*er means name:J*ari*er. Scryfall's !"Foudre" also means an exact name, not negation or the Telegram random command /!. The equals prefix is an Ozramel convenience, not a claim of full Scryfall equivalence.

    semantic: or sem: adds one experimental description to Find matching cards in By filters or Telegram /s, for example f:commander sem:"draw when my creatures die". Spaces mean AND; or and parentheses combine branches. Results are suggestions, not an exhaustive match list. This Ozramel extension does not apply to random draws, games, autocomplete or printing filters. /find DESCRIPTION is an alias of /s sem:"DESCRIPTION". Negation and multiple descriptions are not supported.

    Use mv for mana value, m for mana symbols, pow for printed power and tou for toughness. Comparisons are = != < <= > >=. Colors use w u b r g: c:ur requires red and blue and allows extra colors; c=ur requires exactly red and blue. id is color identity, not a card identifier; id<=ur permits only blue, red or colorless identities.

    For a French name in a website filter, prefix <fr>; Telegram /s and /f//c name choices also use your known language alongside English. For translated-name random filters, use an explicit selector, such as /! <fr> =Foudre. A selector controls name matching, not output language: cards and images stay English and foreign printings are refused. lang: concerns printing metadata, not input-name language.

    History keeps up to ten displayed cards in this browser. Make filter from history joins exact oracle_id: and deck: selectors with or; Copy gives the same expression for Telegram /s. There is no automatic cross-interface synchronization. Safe text regular expressions such as name:/^Lightning Bolt$/ are available, but Ozramel is not a complete Scryfall implementation and does not delegate unsupported searches.

    The list contains at most ten distinct cards. If more than ten match, refine the expression; Ozramel does not return an arbitrary first page. All aliases below are recognized by the parser; that does not mean they are supported by the current local catalog. † marks additional or unavailable vocabulary, not a character to type. Errors and empty results are different.

    Optional descriptive lists
    semantic (sem) is an Ozramel-only description field when enabled. It applies to By filters → Find matching cards and Telegram /s only; its ranked list is non-exhaustive. It is not an exact printing or random-draw predicate.

    Exact local selections
    oracle_id (oracleid, card_id) selects a canonical Magic card; deck selects an Ozramel Deck concept. Prefer the complete expressions copied from History to manually typing an identity.

    Result directives
    unique, order, direction (dir), display†, prefer, cheapest†. These do not turn Find matching cards into an edition browser or remove its ten-card limit. Its card-name list is not a general sorting/display interface; random draws are not ordered.
